A&W Telecommunications Ltd is now Cables & Wireless Telecommunications Ltd.​​​

We have been in operation since 2019 and along with our partners we are proud to provide reliable fiber based internet and TV services, as well as home security systems, to rural southwestern communities including manufactured home communities (mobile home parks), and seasonal cottage and camping residences.

 

Starting solely as a wireless broadband service, we found the need to be able to offer a more diverse range of broadband services. To give our customers faster speeds, more reliability, consistency, and an overall better service, in 2023, we implemented our fiber infrastructure.

With this in place, we are now able offer fiber internet directly to the home as well as  wireless fiber internet services. This ensures that no customer is left behind.​

With the infrastructure changes we have made, and current service offerings, our new name better reflects the direction we have taken in the delivery of our broadband services, and better aligns with the company's vision.

Our customers have always been our priority, and since implementing this change we have been able to provide a superior service. Our customers now enjoy our fiber network's speed, reliability and convenience despite living in rural Southwestern Ontario. The superiority of a fiber network means that the network is not impacted by external factors such as weather, it is not restricted in capacity, and customers can enjoy fast internet speeds, just as if they were living in the city. ​​​
